The II Clínica Guerrero Symposium took place on June 16th 2018, as a continuation of the one held in April 2015, which served as the inauguration event of Clínica Guerrero Marbella, our specialized center in Periodontics, dental implants and aesthetic dentistry, highly committed to training our colleagues and to base or practice on science and ethics.

This II Symposium was very well received with the participation of 120 professionals. Under the title "Periodontics in the clinical day-to-day: a vision for improving teamwork", a very practical program divided into two mini-symposiums was prepared. The first dealt with the clinical management of peri-implant diseases, from how they are diagnosed to how they are maintained after treatment. While the second mini symposium focused on the role of periodontics in the context of interdisciplinary dentistry. The new classification of periodontal diseases was presented, as well as the latest trends in their treatment. In addition, the relationships between periodontics and endodontics, implants and prosthodontics were raised. All this to promote the improvement of teamwork, the hallmark of Clínica Guerrero.

With the aim of continuing the training project of the Clinic, the Guerrero Clinic Symposium will be held every three years. In addition, the Dentsply Sirona Marbella Study club takes place at the clinic facilities, every 3-4 months, for small groups of professionals interested in improving their training.
